Genryusai Seiya

GENRYUSAI SEIYA BRONZE ELEPHANTGenryusai Seiya was the name of a large studio which specialized in export bronzes of quality. Production included human figures in Tokyo School fashion, vases and exotic bronze models of animals, probably influenced by the opening of Tokyo Zoological Gardens in 1882. He exhibited at international and national exhibitions doing the Meiji era though little is known of the exact dates of production.
